They similarly argued that the reasoning behind Kendrick be rolled up wrong the gym mat was because he had climbed on top of the gym mats to get his shoes, but in some way slipped inside of a mat and suffocated. This story did not seem to explain the cuts, bruises, head concussion, and other horrible things that were done to Kendricks body.
